I would like to share an easy, quick but also very delicious recipe with only 5 ingredients (vegan version possible) with you.
Especially now, studying during corona while the days are getting colder and darker, the idea of a hot and crispy apple crumble during a break while studying sounds really good, doesn’t it!? #quarantinelifestyle
This is what you need to make your piece of happiness ;)
an oven dish (Ø 22cm or ca. 24cm x 19cm recommend for 6 portions)
this 5 ingredients:
2-3 apples
150g butter or margarine
150g sugar
100g ground hazelnuts or ground almonds
125g flour
Optional: cinnamon and icing sugar
Time: 15 minutes to prepare, then 20-25 minutes to wait while the apple crumble is baking
Step 1:
Take just some butter or margarine and grease the oven dish.
Turn on your oven to 180 degree Celsius (air circulation).
Wash your apples, cut them into cubes and space them evenly in the oven dish.
Step 2:
For the crumbles:
Melt the butter or margarine on low heat.
Mix the sugar with flour and ground hazelnuts or ground almonds. If you like cinnamon as well, add cinnamon to the mixture.
Then add the melted butter or margarine (should be cold) and knead the dough into crumbles.
Step 3:
Place the crumbles on top of the apple cubes.
Then put your oven dish for 20-25 minutes into the oven.
Still warm, add the icing sugar and – bon appetit! :)
